Here's how Shopify works:

Step 1: Sign Up and Set Up Your Store - Go to the Shopify website and sign up for a free trial. Enter your email, create a password, and choose a store name.

Step 2: Customize Your Store - Visit the Shopify Theme Store to select a theme that suits your brand. You can start with a free theme or purchase a premium one.

Step 3: Add Products - Navigate to the “Products” section and click “Add product.” Enter the product name, description, price, and upload images.

Step 4: Set Up Payments and Shipping - Go to “Settings” > “Payments” and choose your preferred payment gateway. Shopify Payments, PayPal, and other major payment processors are available.

Step 5: Set Up a Domain - You can purchase a custom domain through Shopify or connect an existing domain.

Connect Your Domain: Follow Shopify’s instructions to connect your domain, ensuring it points to your Shopify store.

Step 6: Configure Store Settings - Under “Settings” > “General,” enter your store details, including business address, time zone, and contact information.

Step 7: Launch Your Store - Before going live, test your store thoroughly. Place test orders to ensure everything works smoothly. 

Step 8: Market Your Store - Optimize your product pages and content for search engines. Edit meta titles, descriptions, and URLs.

Step 9: Manage and Grow Your Store - Use Shopify’s analytics and reporting tools to monitor your store’s performance, sales, and customer behavior.
